thought of it but there is really no point since it is not gonna be used in racing and I have the habit of never getting my fuel tanks below 1/3" of their capacity. Whenever I see my fuel gauge hit below the half mark , my mind is already looking for a gas station to fill up , lol. So I don't think I will ever have any cavitation problem caused by low fuel or fuel slosh.

Would you consider posting the lengths of the fuel lines needed in order to replicate a similar setup?
It would make ordering parts much easier to know up front exactly what parts are needed. While most of us would never consider a setup as extreme as yours, there may be a number of members who would at least consider running a smaller version.

Your posts on the gas tank modification were so precise that I now have full confidence in being able to tackle my own tank. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the fuel setup so that I know exactly what is ahead.

My 2 x -10an feed lines are 11 feet from the bottom of the firewall to where my weldon filters are and my x -10an return line is 13 ft. It goes from the Weldon Regulator ; Flex Fuel sensor that both near the suspension tower to the top of the fuel tank.

Had a solid rubber block wedged under the Weldon 2345a pump to absorb all the vibration so pump noise will be minimal. Pump bracket also has rubber mats on the bolt and nuts side so the pump has minimal contact with the chassis / shell that can amplify pump noise.

Thanks buddy !

All stock fuel lines are gone . Today gonna roll out and fasten the 3 x -10 fuel lines in the area where the stock lines used to be . Did change the fitting for the return with a silver fitting so I can easy tell which one is the return line. They all end up at the bottom of the firewall . From there each feed will go to one side of the two fuel rails then their other ends go to each side of the Weldon Fuel Regulator . The return line will have a split -8an line from regulator to that -10 return cause I didn't want to create restriction by inserting a flex fuel sensor which usually only have like a -6an line through them.

Only thing left on the stock lines underneath the car is the brake line . Made brackets to fasten the lines. Trying to think of a material I can use to cover the whole stretch of line from dirt ... something similar to the stock plastic cover for the stock lines. Maybe I can visit homedepot or lowes on the weekend and see what I can find.

Default fuel line brackets

gerrb,

I made brackets that bolt to the OEM studs that are flush to bottom of the chassis and run under the brake lines. That allows use of the OEM plastic cover and all OEM fasteners. The brake lines, charcoal canister line, and -8 return all fit under the cover leaving only the -10 feed line exposed but neatly tucked next to the cover. Additionally, the clamp for the feed line also fits a -12 line if I decide to deliver even more fuel. I then use a triple y-block in the engine bay to feed the fuel rail and nitrous system.

I'd take a picture of the finished product but the car is too low to get a good shot.

-scott

Nice Scott . I believe I am able to envision how your finished product is with those brackets. That is what is nice about knowing how to weld . I have yet to learn how to weld well.. haha..but got the equipments , just need to keep practicing so I learn how to weld good.

My problem with the stock plastic covers are the stock mounting hardware being at the centerr . On one side I have two -10an for the feeds , one on each fuel rail. Those two hoses won't fit under the cover on one side of the stock mounting hardware. But I believe I can fasten those covers without using the stock mounting hardware if I won't find a nice cover for them . You have given me an idea .

Thanks... you also reminded me . Dang , I still have my 2 nitrous lines . But those will fit on the side where the brake line and -10an return are.

edit :

Just installed the two nitrous lines too. I will put some zip ties every foot so all those lines are neatly tied together.

^^^ that will be a lot of work to put E85 PTFE Braided Stailnless lines on plastic tubing

Today got my -12an Roll-Over Vent Valve . I will replace its top fitting (blue) with a steel one though since I like all my fittings on the fuel tank to be welded . After speaking with the people at Weldon , since I have a Weldon 2345a that has a -12AN pickup line and at the same time I have triple Denso pumps then the minimum Tank Vent I should have should be a -12AN . Enough air should get into your fuel tank while fuel is pumped out or it will collapse. At the same time fuel should not flow out of your vent when your car turns on its side or upside down, thus the need of a roll-over vent valve.

The vent on our SC tank which is located on the top hat is like 1/8 in size

This roll-over vent valve size is -12AN ... and here is a comparison with it besides a -6AN . It is massive.

This is how my fuel tank looks like . Right now all fittings are just bolted. Am thinking of welding each fitting to avoid any leaks just like the bottom holes of the tank had been welded. Exactly the reason why I got steel fittings for the fuel tank instead of aluminum fittings.... so I can weld them. It is a matter of who will weld them. If I weld them , it will give me the opportunity to practice welding . It won't be pretty but sure will work.

On the right is the Roll-Over Vent Valve that will connect to a -12AN line as high as the filler cap. Blue fitting replaced with a steel 90 degree one.
On the left is my -12AN Weldon 2345a feed whose tube goes to the back end of the slosh tank.
On the left front is my -10AN return line from the Weldon Fuel Regulator and returns fuel in front of the slosh tank.
The three -6AN fittings on the front will be for each Denso Pump feed. I can just cap them if I don't use any so the system is modular in nature.
The -6AN bulkhead at the back will be for the wiring of two Denso Pumps. The other pump will use the original wiring.

not if you split the tubing like wire loom then it's not that hard to insert the fuel lines just get the tubing a 1/2 to a size larger than the lines
