Default The New car/progress thread: 90 Toyota Celsior (aka ls400)

Hey guys,

Figured i would post on here.
My name is jared, and im from canada? The us guys might ask where is canada? Canada is the place above you with lots of snow haha. Ive been in the car scene a while. (mostly sports car and drifting/track racing/auto-x)

But then i realised after having my silvia w/ 350whp. Fast cars impress guys, nice cars impress girls. So i wanted to go into the luxury scene, and i like driving low and having nice fitment, so factory air seemed like a good way to start.

My celsior:
1990, 26,000km, all leather, power everything, masaging rear seats, heated seats, all the goodies

Pictures:
At port:

In the container ride over:

Pictures of arrival:

masaging rear seat controls:

Power curtains (time to switch to some jps):

Plans:
Air susp controller, and heated front seats:

keyless entry (walk up doors open, push button start):

When i walk away with the windows down, they roll up:

back up camera, and sensors:

the deck:

the winter rims:

Decided im going to put all the nice luxury features in this thing, does anyone have the air susp ecu pin out i can use?
Any ideas or comments are welcome

Very clean car!

Welcome to Clublexus. It seems like you've had this planned well. We look forward to see progress on this fine and option loaded machine.

looking very good I like the curtain idea! didn't know they had this

Too bad here in Europe you could only have heated rear seats, no extra power goodies

Good luck

Well been thinking about the interior a bit.

I was thinking about putting a rear table in, sort of like the airplane tables, but make it out of wood or something. What do you guys think?

Also was thinking about turning my front glove box into a table on the inside since it is pretty much flat at fully open. Add some cup holder rings and thats that.

Will post pictures up today/tonight. What do you guys think?
I personally think having more tables/cupholders = good.

Also lilcelsior, i am going to be playing with the air ride on monday. So if all goes well = slammed

And i found a factory over in asia, so i might get a sample of their air susp

Look for Jaguar tables on Ebay. They look real nice. You'll have to fab up a mounting solution though.

I just posted a new post about retrofitting Jaguar picnic tables on a 1st Gen LS400. Here's the link: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ic-tables.html
