Windshield tinting - Heads Up Display
I just had Spectra Photosync installed on all side windows, rear window and moonroof. I am considering having the 75% installed on the windshield. Has anyone with the color HUD display had their windshield tinted? Did it impact the display any?
I did do a basic search but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks!

Yep. Auto fail in VA too but I've heard of people putting SunTek clear for the IR reduction. Need to look into it more because the SunTek ceramics regular tiny is plain ole amazing. If the clear can repel rads like the normal tint, I'll be doing the front glass too.

TX law seems vague. A film can be applied to the front windshield as long as it's clear but doesn't specify what clear is. The Spectra Photosync tint I had installed on the other windows comes in 75% and has amazing IR reducion #s. Still haven't decided to do it yet, but driving headed west yesterday late afternoon I could really feel the heat coming through the windshield compared to the other windows.
