Default Rock chip filled incorrectly

Im looking for some advice on what to do with this, this rock chip was filled in with the wrong paint shade and left un-leveled by the previous owner of my MM ISF. I was able to get it leveled at least but the paint is still the wrong color and I was told by a pro detailer that he didn't think he would be able to remove the incorrect paint without damaging the areas around it. Im hoping theres a solution besides sanding it down and re-spraying the hood, thanks guys.

That's a nasty rock chip.I don't have an answer but it looks like they got too much paint outside of the chip too. I use Dr. Colorchip and it allows you to keep the paint within the chip and not outside of it.

Honestly, that doesnt look like a bad touch up job on a chip that size, but if you want it to be perfect, it will need to be repainted.

I may end up doing that in a couple years or just wrapping the car, is there anything I can do for now to clean that up a bit though?

Not really... that is just how touch up paint looks on big chips.

How old is the touch-up? You may be able to remove the touch-up paint by using something like Langka Blob Eliminator.

A lot of time the touch-up will not look like the original paint, even if you use the exact same color. Metallic colors are just tough to match.

Not sure, I've only had the car for a year and it was already there, like I said a detailer thought that he couldn't get it out without damaging paint around it as well - decided not to risk it without a 2nd opinion.
