Default 22ple VX Pro Glass

Hey guys,

I was wondering if the 20ml bottle is plenty for a 2012 IS250? The DI site doesnt specifically say if there is an applicator pad included or if you have to buy the double sided applicator?

Thanks guys.

20 mL is fine for one coat on a mid sized sedan... however, I would highly recommend purchasing one of the updated coatings, either 22ple VX3 Signature (best bang for your buck IMO!) or 22ple VX Pro2. These 2 coatings have been formulated with a more advanced form of silica which enhances the performance even more. The original versions are still great, but they were improved on, so why not go for the latest and greatest

None of the 22ple coatings come with an applicator, but I would not recommend the 22ple applicator. Instead, purchase a CarPro CQuartz Applicator and 1 of the 16x16" suede microfiber cloths and cut it up into 4x4" sections.

Zach,
Will you clarify if I will I be using the 22ple straight onto the applicator pad or onto the Suede microfiber cloths being cut up into 4x4 pieces?

You can purchase a 16"x16" suede cloth and cut it into 4"x4" pieces (much cheaper!), or simply purchase 4"x4" pieces. These wrap around the applicator block, and the coating is applied onto the cloth. You then spread the coating onto the paint as seen below.

I thought I was the only one that did that! I'm really cheap, er, frugal. You get 16 4"x4" pieces from one 16"x16". Ends up over 10x cheaper than buying the 4x4 pieces.
