I have been using turtle wax endura shine tire coating. It also says lasts up to a year. I applied two coats to the tire back in November. It is still holding up very well. Way better than normal tire shine. This is right after I applied it.

I applied it to the BMW at the same time as the Lexus. This is a picture from now. November to April. All that has been done to maintain it is wash it just like the rest of the car.

Thanks Coleroad for your post. I tried it on my 2007 SC430 and it looks great.
My advice when you apply the black sealing coat make sure you pour it very SLOWLY on the applicator sponge as it comes out extremely fast. I would also have a wet towel with dish detergent ready to go in case you get some of the black sealant on your rims.
I applied very thin coats of the sealant and waited 10 minutes between coats. I put (4) coats of black sealant on tires and if they stay looking like this...we are all good.
