Was on Detailed Image because of their black Friday sales and saw this decontamination product. Never saw it before today. Has anyone tried it? Is it as good as IronX? Does it smell as bad as IronX?

Yes - it is new to DI, but I dont think it is a brand new product for Sonax as I believe I have seen DD using it previously.

Wonder how potent this is compared to Iron X, Sonax Full effect, and Finish Kare SIRR Steel, Iron Rust Remover/ Acid Based Cleaner. I would love a product to use that eliminates using a claybar. Wonder if this stuff will remove paint/clearcoat overspray like a claybar can.

These products are not meant to replace the clay bar. They simply remove bonded iron particles aka rail dust or industrial fallout. This makes it quicker and easier to clay afterwards because there will not be as much contamination on the surface.
