Default "curbed" my chrome rim!

so i dindt run it into a curb, but I run a stretch tire, and with it off the car friggin knocked it over and it fell on the pavement marring up my mint lip!

Its not deep gouges but you can feel and see where the bits of rocks and sand have pitted the chrome.

What is the best way to clean itup and protect it. Im assuming work it with sandpaper getting to a 2000 or 3000 grit then polish teh heck out of it, then use a wheel wax?

dont think u can sand it down and polish it over. i believe you have to get it refinished and redipped in chrome.

yea you cant repolish chrome unfortunately, if it was polished you would be fine.

Just live with it man , maybe if its really bad u can fill it and sand it smooth and touch it up with chrome paint, but this is in no way a proper fix

IF they are chrome, they need to be re-dipped...

IF this is on your AC wheels, like most Japanese wheels, they're just polished, and you can fix it easily;
