Default Reconditioning/grimy wood-trim

Picked up a '11 350 yesterday, just noticed today that the trim by the shifter is a little rough/grimy. I haven't tried any cleaning products yet but I feel like it'll need more than just your typical over the counter cleaner.

What cleaner should I try first, then if that doesn't work what should I try next?

Do you have access to a steam cleaner? That should do the trick.

If not, you could try Optimum Power Clean and agitate with a Boar's Hair Brush.

Thanks for your post, what do you suggest I try first (something off the shelf) before going the steam route

Steam is going to be safer than any chemical because it is just water... so if you have access to a steamer, give it a shot.

If not, you could try an all purpose cleaner diluted for light cleaning... Optimum Power Clean, which I mentioned in my previous response, is an all purpose cleaner/degreaser that is a great product for detailing inside and outside of your vehicle.
