I did the weekly wash of the girlfriends 2010 graphite grey CRV and decided to coat the front of the car with the #19. It made it feel like there was another clear coat on the car. It gave it a tough feeling. Can't wait to see how the beading is when it rains.

I would love to try that blue wax on my blue GS300. I would love to see how it holds up in a Chicago winter. If you need a tester I'd gladly oblige.

What's up guys, been away for a while but still working on the wax, glad to say I think I have a final version... then again, there is NEVER a final version. I got some good stuff from Dupont and another polymer company, mixed in there stuff with my blend and BAM !! I got something I would say is rather awesome. Here are a few pics of the latest homemade wax, and a job done this weekend.

I waxed the entire car from top to bottom, and let the wax sit on there for about 30 mins. Don't have to let it sit that long but I did. Applied it in shade, and then the sun came out and shined on the wax for about 10 mins before removing it. The wax removed very easily with the new formula, (thanks for input from guys I sent samples too)

In any case, enjoy the pics....

John

PewterSS. I tried wax 29 and 31 on a few panels. I'm very impressed! First off, they both smell amazing! Very easy to apply and remove. I only let the wax stay on for a few minutes before removal. I plan to do a full detail in the next few weeks and I can assure you that your wax will be my top coat. 29 was great. 31 really made my paint pop. Not only was the wax terrific. PewterSS was a nice guy. I wish you luck. And now I know where to get my wax! I will keep you posted on how the wax hold up in coming weeks.

Wax 29

Wax 29

Wax 31

The reflection is amazing on 15 yr old paint.

Its been forever since I've visited the detail forum... With the drought in California.. I've definitely give very little attention to my ES. Decided to finally give it some attention. Its been maybe 2+ months since Pewterss has sent me Knight Armor #21. And I must say this stuff has held up really well. Anyways, I lacked photos posted last time and fear they might be lost at this point, however, here are some are two photos showing off KnightArmor #21! Thanks again Pewterss, even after letting it sit for a long time it still was like butter coming off. Theres no rain in the future so unfortunately no beading pictures.
