I'm going to try to track down some new polishing pads today as my last ones were shot after 5 years. If I get em, I'll detail my ISF this long memorial day weekend :-)

1) Wash with dish soap

2) Clay Bar

3) Meguires Swirl-X (maybe, might not be needed)

4) Meguires Ultimate Polish

5) Klasse sealant

6) Whatever local Caranuba type wax I can find.

Pics to come!

IS-F Detailing Paint, Thoughts?-ny9wrvq.jpg

I'm tired of cleaning cars ;-) I don't have a better pic but the car is nice and shiny. I can still see some scratches but that's ok. Man the clay bar picked up a ton!

Btw, Klasse is such a pleasure to put on. I put on wax as a final step so here's to hoping the paints protected until next year!

Looks pretty good... Hard to tell, but the reflection of the sun makes it seem like you've got some haze going on... But hard to tell.

Part of it is polish residue. Part is a slight haze I think. Ohh well. I'll work on the car again in a few months time. I was most interested in cleaning and sealing the paint.

Better is the enemy of good enough!

I think I see quite a bit of hazing, but the pic makes it hard to tell.
