Default Cleaning polished silver Vossen cv7

Can I use meguiars quick detailer on these wheels? It's what I use between washes on my car...

Thanks

I used the quick detailer when I had my CV2 machined graphite. I had no issues. I know its a different coating than yours.

We use Eagle One cleaning products in house, the A2Z All Wheel and Tire cleaner is great for any wheel finish, and it doesn't have the harsh chemicals in other cleaners that can damage wheel finishes. Really any of their wheel cleaning products will work just fine

Yeah I used that one. But it's really gotta be used when you wash the car cause their is rinsing involved.

Hmm, I know Mike (and some of the other guys) use the Chrome Wheel cleaner at meets on his Silver Polished CV7's, just sprayed on and wiped off, no water or rinsing involved! I usually just do mine when I wash the car, but that is very often, so I never need an in-betweener, haha

Hey Guys - anybody heard if Sonax or Adams Wheel Cleaner is good/best? I heard Sonax is great and really removes the grime & brake dust but might be harsh? I know Vossen prefers EagleOne products in-house, just wondering if these other 2 are any good? Thanks.

Sonax is one of the most popular wheel cleaners on the market. It is used regularly by many professionals. It is pH neutral and safe for all wheel finishes, but works well to remove dirt and grime.

This color change lets you know the formula has broken down, softened and loosened contaminants that can now easily be removed with a stream of water. This truly unique formula provides a deep cleaning that is not like anything you have tried before. Use the SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect and you may never use another product again.
Have no experience with Adam's wheel cleaner.

I've been using Sonax since i got my Vossen's and i swear by that stuff... I spray it on wait about 5 minutes hose the access off then use a MF towel with Mcguires Gold Class car wash and wash the wheels... That is how i clean mine. i even taken a pressure washer to the wheels with no issues...

i've always believed that rinsing the wheels or any surface for that matter is the first step.. Tiny dirt and contaminates that you can't see are on the wheels or paint so its best to rinse and clean the wheel first IMO..

So I got the Sonax and went to clean the CV7's and noticed my first scratch!! Arrgghh! It's barely noticeable, esp when the wheels are moving lol but it bugs me. Any tips on scrubbing or polishing this out? Thanx!
