Default Keeping up the leather and paint

Hi,

I just got a GS430 and decided to pass on the dealers offer to put the leather and paint protection on for a $1000. However, I am wondering if there is something I should put on the leather to protect it from water, etc. Also how about the paint?

Smart move, passing on the leather and paint protection. The paint protection is little more than a wax itself, and the leather crap can actually make your leather crack early!

Most Lexus dealers don't even offer it.
