Default How do I remove stains on the inside of my armrest (with picture)

When I purchased my GS, I noticed it had stains on the inside of the armrest. Judging by the crap that was on the woodgrain near the armrest.... it's probably coffee or something. It came off very easily off the woodgrain, but I am completely unsure how to clean the inside of the armrest.

Is it even possible?

Please any help would be appreciated!

If it's any of the material below, the Autoglym Interior Shampoo/Cleaner will do the job:

Velour
Cloth
Alcantara
Vinyl
Plastic
Leather

In your picture, it looks to be velour...so spary the AG inside the armrest...let it dwell for about 2-3 minutes, then come back and wipe with mf cloth...you may need a second application. Also, remember to vacuum first. Great question and the photo was perfect in helping diagnose your situation!

I cleaned some spots on the headliner and carpet with some Palmolive oxy dish soap diluted in a spray bottle with hot water, scrub with a toothbrush and wipe up with a microfiber. I have the tan interior and it worked really well especially getting the headliner where my big head hits all the time LOL!

The problem with using dish soap, or any other soap, is the soap never completely leaves the substrate. The only way to properly remove all the soap is to extract it. If you don't, the soap left behind will attract further dirt and grimme.
