If you are in Queens, Lage car wash is a great detail joint. Their wax and detail jobs are outstanding. It's on Queens Blvd. near L.I.E. next to the Gold Fingers.

There's a hidden place in Brooklyn that does the best detailing.
90% of the cars that enters are nice expensive cars.
Occasionally a cheap hooked up Honda might drive in but that's about it.

I used to have my 02 IS300 cleaned, waxed and "something like a eraser that takes off hard dirt" done to it for about $120. The result was 100% like as if it was brand new.

The detail job can take 2 hours. Gotta have a place to sit down and watch. Next to the Gold Fingers, there's a Burger King with a playground for the family-oriented folks.

Yellow man what's good. I actually need a good detailing and i live in brooklyn as well. What does crystal clear charge for a detail/wax if you know? I need to get out there sometime within the next 2 weeks if not I guess i can find out myself

The last time I had work done there was for a complete inside/outside cleaning with claybar and stuff. That costed me about $120 I think. But it was an awesome job. Car looks BRAND NEW.

Yup. It's close by Coney Island. You can say it's on the edge of Bensonhurst.
If you were to follow the D train under the tracks, the tracks will turn away and right then you will see the detailing shop.
Great stuff there. You should definitely go.
