I was in the market for a new 08 GS350 and I was interested in leasing one.
If I am looking into $2k down max for drive off and 10k to 12k a year, on a loaded GS350 RWD with NAV and ML or even everything except ML, I was wondering if I monthly payments can be around $600 or less?
MBZ has a special right now on the CLS550, $749/month + tax and about $3k-$4k driveoff. I thought this was a pretty nice deal on a $70k+ car.

Any info is appreciated.
lexus h as some of the worst lease rates and residuals.
BMW = #1
Never own, but a lease is a great way to go on a BMW. That way when the car really starts needing maint, after the lease/3 year maint free, you give it back...
WHen I was looking at purchasing my now sold GS450h, the lease/month was 10 bucks less per month than purchasing.... so I bought it....
If you want to buy a car, buy a lexus, if you want to lease something, get something else...
I know OP is from LA, but just to give a comparison of lease rates up here...
I am leasing a 2008 GS350 AWD with ML/Navi. Cap cost was $59,901 and I put $0 down. Lease rate is 5.9% and buyback after 48 months is $25,800. I get 24,000 km/yr (15,000 mi/yr) and I am paying $975/month before tax ($1100/month after tax). This is in Canadian dollars but they are almost at par ($1 USD = $1.0022 CAD) so you can think of it as being in USD.
Needless to say, you guys are getting a good deal.
On my 08GS350 AWD Blk/Blk Navi, no ML, i leased mine for 619 per month for 48 months/12k per year. I did 3k out of pocket. The buyout is 21 and change. You may be able to get it in low 600's with some shopping around.

Wow the buyout is pretty low!

^^ Now, that's the defintion of poor residuals. Even the M35 has 62% residual after 24 months.
No car I've seen a car has as strong of residuals as the G - coupe and sedans. Not even BMW.

wow, 3 yrs at 46%, that's pretty low. but i think that's reasonable considering when i got the 08 right when it came out, 3 yrs residual was around 50% already.
