I have a set of iForgred Sprints (20x8.5 20x10) that i used to run on my 2G GS that need to be refinished, the clearcoat is coming off pretty bad. They are currently the brushed finish. Since the valve stem comes out at a 45 degree angle im guessing i cannot mount the tpms unless i have new holes drilled for them. Should i get em refinished and drilled to throw them on my 3GS? My car is Opaline white...what color should i get the rims done in? or should i sell em and start with something fresh?
I like googled it, didnt really like the design. sell them the spokes are ok for a 2GS but they will look small on the 3GS due to the thick spokes IMO.
I say throw them on and ride out. Brush is a nice finish on a white car. If you have money and time then refinish them but keep it brush.
Brushed is a costly upgrade on iForged. What other finishes go well with Starfire/Opaline (white) ? Do you think Hi polish or gunmetal would go well with white ???
I agree with Seize, nice photo shop by the way Seize, and go ahead and put em on. I like the way it looks.
I too have an Opaline Pearl 3GS and when I was at the rim shop last weekend, I put the burshed up against the car and it looks sweet! Because the Opaline is like a white/silver blend with blue, pink, purple hues, It brings out the shine in the wheels.
Plus you get to save some money and I Fordged is a great wheel company!
