Default Long Term Drive - GS300 AWD

Long Term Drive

Own 2006 GS300 AWD, NAV + ML, Mercury Metallic, 30,000 miles so far
Driving Habit: 60 miles per day highway and local combo.

· Major Issues: None
· Minor Issues: Rattle Sound at beginning. After the fixed by dealer no more issues.
· Driving – Smooth as silk and enough pickup when need it. AWD sticks to the road. Quite when you want it and hear the power when you push it.
· Exterior – Still looking gorgeous.
· Interior – Still beautiful. Every time new person rides with me the first time they touch it, feel it, and love it.
· Music – Fantastic! With ML. Turn on your favorite tune and drive the country road. This is why you bought the car!
· Trunk Space: Enough to carry 3 golf bags. Why do you complain?
· Customer Service: Fantastic - This is why you bought the car!
· Mileage: 24 – 26 MPG depend how you drive. I have Power mode turn on always. Fantastic mileage compare to other cars in the same category.
· Summary: Looking forward to drive the car everyday. I thought the feeling will die out after 6 month but I still have the same desire to drive the car as the first time I drove the car. After the break-in, the car feels smoother and more responsive. Lots of you complain about the small stuff but when you look at overall result of what you pay for, this is a car that delivers what Lexus do so well.

I put mine sideways and I do carry my bags on my back so as others who plays with me so the size of bag is little bit smaller than huge bags and push cart. Gives me more exercise! I need it
Enjoy the ride falks!

Love my car also @12800 miles.

At first I wasn't convinced it would be powerful or comfortable
enough, but breakin and ECT power mode definitely improved
the ride.

Great observations, I feel the same way at 11,100 miles.
