Liking the grey/gunmetal centers more than the blue. When at HRE Hdqtrs last week I saw the nicest brushed grey centers on a set of racing wheels. I bet they would look tight. Grey centers look better IMO against the blue car vs. blue. yikes-

thanx 4 the quick p-shops....the blue looks way off in the pic but does give me an idea of what it would look like, which is scary ...i do like that 5 star and mesh aswell but would i change mine 4 those i don't know? i'm not looking 4 change , just wondoring what it would look like, plus my mod money is being saved 4 something else right now and a wheel change is just not possible but thanx again dude 4 the quick response and job. always appreciated..
Ed , i told u , u should have never showed me that magazine, now i sleep thinking about that mod, even my wife loved the idea with out even seeing the magazine, mayb u could if u still have the magazine scan in 4 me and send it 2 me?.....
bluelex, yeah, sorry about the blue color. the blue is definitely way off from the way i wanted. you probably envisioned darker blue like gun metal blue. i am still having a bit of trouble getting the colors exactly right when changing colors using PS. still cannot quite get the right mix of hue, saturation, and light to match what i see in my head.
even though i have been using PS for several years now...modding cars using PS is still a pretty new concept to me which explains why i usually just stick to doing signatures. i have never even thought of photoshopping cars until i joined CL. i enjoy the new challenges though.
Originally posted by bluelex i wasn't trying 2 say anything bad, sorry if it came off that way, i just wanted 2 have an idea of what they would look like.......
no, i didn't think you said anything bad. maybe i sounded defensive in my reply...didn't mean that though. was just rambling. i knew the blue colors were not that great...that's why i posted the picture with the normal colored wheels as well. hehe.
i can get really picky with some of my creations at times. photoshoppers know exactly what i am talking about...one pixel can make a big difference in the way something looks and feels.
yeah, i figured you wanted to get the feel of what the blue may look like. that's why i posted the so-so blue wheels. b/c they were just okay enough for you to get a feel. normally, i won't post something i don't feel good about. there are so many things i attempted, not posted, and trashed since i didn't like the way they turned out.
