Okay guys I lowered my car yesterday. It was a DIY in my garage with the help of a friend (who is a mechanic). Took some pics today, First pic is before drop, rest are after. The last two are of me driving up my driveway.
Thanks guys for all the comments. I'm really loving the stance. I alway hated how the front sat a tad higher than the rear, these springs gave it the right drop to slant the car forward. I was kind of worried about doing this myself but the cost savings outweighed the concerns. It took about 3.5 hours not including the meal break and the occasional "where does this go" lol.
Hey Chris (01a4man) thanks for hooking me up with the springs.
Can't wait to see some digital pics of your car, I'm really feeling that bumper now.
Good work, it came out nice.
I guess if you know what you're doing it's okay to DIY.
Thanks, and definitely wouldn't recommend a DIY without someone who is a mechanic or mechanically inclined (it also helps to have the right tools). I had a buddy who is a mechanic and I just assisted.
