Oil refilling
Sorry, this might be a silly question but might help others and me who are thinking how comes there is no airlock or bleeding issues when it comes to oil like there is with other liquids like coolant etc? when all the other liquids are refilled they all have to be bled to get air out.
As i was pouring the oil in, it just got me thinking because the oil was going down and I remember thinking damn if that was coolant thats alot of air bubbles going in.
thanks

The oil system is not a sealed system like the cooling/braking system. There is always air present above it in the oil pan. The oil is sucked up into the top of the engine and forced through all the small passageways by the oil pump, then gravity falls back into the pan to be filtered/cycled through again.
