IS250 AMP install help
#4
Standard line out converter should be fine...All you really have to do is tap onto the rear speakers signal and run an rca converter box....15 bucks and audio installer should have them....The line output just give you more control really both are essential if your keeping the stock Hu though because it will only let you boost bass over the entire system....which will blow out you door speakers....common problem when keeping the stock Hu major tuning problems

Im wondering if anyone has the pin out or a picture of which wires you tapped for the subwoofer LOC signal. I have found the factory amp and got my switched 12v got the JL amp installed and functioning, just no audio due to the LOC not connected. Ive been told its a DVC and that I need:
BROWN and PINK as +
and
LIGHT GREEN and LIGHT BLUE as -
Im just not soo sure which harness to look in. I have 2 plugs in the amp, one big one with a bunch of "thicker" wires and one closer to the rear or taillight thats small and has very small wire gauges.... Im not sure Im seeing the right colors in either.
Someone mentioned to me that speaker wires are "thicker" and can sometimes be twisted.
Any input would be great,
Thanks
