2013 Lexus GS Start Up Screen
Here's the new NAV display start up screen in the new GS. It's a lot more animated than ever before...and if you listen closely, the audible warning tone has changed from the low key DING to a high pitched beep after 22 years! I kind of miss the old DING sound.

Very cool! I like the auto outline resolve in to the logo.

Damn, that's nice (something that you can show off to your passengers )
Though
I think the JDM models might get a small additional extra start-up tune for their units.

Anyways:
Hopefully we get that thing too here in the Philippines (even in the 8 inch screen versions in case that's what we get here).

Also it seemed to take a while after selecting agree before the nav showed up...

noticed the new start up sequence on another video before, definitely a great improvement, very very nice
i guess it depends on whether that message will go away after a few seconds by default anyway, which is what current gen6 has
if it doesn't go away until you click continue, that's silly

You can get rid of the BMW warning screen and continue button with a software patch made by DVD-in-Motion.
