Lexus has plenty of SUV's but what if Lexus created a real X3 or GLK fighter based off of the Toyota RAV4. Too much or bring it?

With Buick's upcoming Encore, a competing Lexus this size might not be a bad idea.
Hard to tell with the GLK, but I don't think that most X3 buyers would be very interested in a Lexus alternative.

Yes, I saw it, too...at the D.C. Auto Show in January. But it seems to be about the same exterior size as the red graphic Lexus cute-ute shown in the opening post.....which is noticeably larger than an xD.

I've owned an RX since 1999, and even with my new RX450h coming in another 3 weeks or so, I'd be interested in a hybrid version... Before my first RX, I owned a RAV4 that my mom has been driving ever since, and honestly considered switching back to a new RAV before ordering my RX450h last Fall.. The RAV size, and if it was hybrid with Lexus amenities, would match me perfectly -- better than my next RX for sure. ...just please, Lexus, make the back hatch open vertically like my RX's, instead of horizontally as the RAVs always have, to fit in my garage so I can open the back with the garage door closed.

Interesting...
If it's a hybrid it could be called CX 300h
Since Infiniti has the EX designation that's not gonna work for the next Lexus CUV.
Another option could be the IX 250/350.
I say bring it Lexus with a vengence...
