Rear Package Tray Removal
Hi,
To remove the rear package tray on a 1st Gen, do I just lift up on it, or are there some screws that need to be removed?
Thanks

No, the shocks are new... I have a ticking sound that's coming from the rear tray. I think some of the adhesive that holds the carpet to it has given out so there's a spot that the adhesive is going "tick, tick" as it connects, separates, then connects wgen driving along. It only happens intermittently, depending on the weather and temp but it bothers me...
So, taking the back seat out isn't a problem, but after it's out, what's holding the tray in place?
Thanks

No... I took the back seat out to remove my rear struts, installed different struts, replaced the seat, and I haven't had the ticking since. So, I can't say for sure where it was coming from. Could have been from the seat, the top strut mounts or the tray...
