Arrow The Better Tire-Michelin Pilot Plus or Good Year Response

I am looking for a low noise tire that grip very good in wet weather. I hope it's ride smooth and last long too.

Any I deals?

You can read my story here. In the end I ended up with PS2s (Don’t think you will find a better tire for rain (summer tire)). I don’t notice the noise any longer and I have 5-6k on them now. If it was not for the drifting, the A/S plus would be a great tire for my car. Good luck and if you have an issue, Michelin is great about taking care of you.

Michelin period makes some of the best tires out there right now. Both the Pilot Sports and the A/S Plus are amazing tires.

I just got a set of the pilot sport AS plus today and I like them except for the fact that the run wider than my old falken and rub the fender. I havent put more than 60 miles on them but they seem quiet and very smooth. The best thing about it is the 500 TWR

I have the new Pilot Plus as recommended, but now my car goes to the right when I let go of the steering wheel.

Is this normal? My GS350 is a 2008 with 25,000 miles on it now. I didn't have this problem before.

Thanks,

You need a wheel alignment

I am loving the Michellins. I spent two evenings using a file to reshape the rear of the fender lips in the rear of the car. I also had them trimmed with a handheld power saw to make these tires fit and I am thinking the hard work was worth it . These tires are great. 45 k warranty ( not with my alignment, but you wont see toyo, falken , or nitto putting 45k gaurantees on their tires available in a 245/30 and 275/30), quiet ride, and extrta fat look

Yes, it makes sense! However, you might want to check and ensure each tire has the recommended amount of air, just in case.

I had an alignment done with my last 2 sets of tires and it didnt seem to do much to aid the life of the tire
