Default scratch on center console - is there a way to get it out?

I accidentally scratched my center console near the cup holder, I have the premium package that has the dark grey bird-eye finish. It more of a scuff than deep scratch. Is there something I can do to buff this back to a smooth finish?

It's fairly noticable, at least to me.

Thanks for any help.

The lacquer or "clearcoat" finish on the wood is quite thick so you should be able to polish it out.

You can try to get a clear polish scratch remover like Plexus to take it out. If your not comfortable doing it yourself find a GOOD local detailer who knows what he's doing.

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it's probably too deep to polish completely out. If it's just a surface blemish/scuff, then it can be removed by leveling (polishing) the clearcoat on the wood. I had this happen a couple of times, and was able to remove the scratches with Z-PC, which I also use on the paint and exterior plastic. You can also use most any All-In-One polish/sealant, like Klasse or Zaino. You'll have to be a bit more aggressive with AIO to get results. The Zaino has more abrasives, so you might want to try that unless you're comfortable using a true polish first.
