Default Anyone tried buffing the center console wood?

As the title says, I'm curious what product to use to polish out the center console, mine has tons of light scratches on it that looks bad if it's shining under direct light, I know it's coated so it should be buff able..

I have but it was few years back I think I used meguairs m205 and a terry cloth.

Any scratches or defects you always want to use the least abrasive compound and increase the compound coarseness if the scratches do not go away.

Try regular wax first

I used a little Poorboys polishing compound, then covered it with 3M paint sealant. Worked wonders. That was a well over a year ago, so it could probably use another coat after all the cleaning I've done since, but it's holding up nicely. Key is to get it as clean as possible, because the slightest grain of sand can do some serious damage if you're not paying attention. Also, try to shove paper or something between the fine cracks, otherwise you'll be digging that crap out for months. Just get a super mild compound (polishing) and take your time.
