Default FS: Rotora 355mm 4-Piston Big Brake Kit

Selling my ALL 4 of my brakes. I'm upgrading to 15" Brembo 6piston brakes in the front and 14" Brembo 4piston in the rear.

This is the 2-piece floating rotor 355mm(14") 4-piston big brake kit. The model number is RBK024.03 for the fronts. The online store price, not MSRP is usually $2100+. The rear is also a 2-piece floating rotor 355mm(14") 4-piston RBK027.02 big brake kit, internet price of $2000+.

These have never been used for road racing, only for slowing the car down from highway pulls. There is no warpage in any of the rotors. I just put new pads(costs $220 for new pads) in the front brakes about 1000miles ago, the rear brakes still have a good 75-80% brake pad left.

Selling for $2000 and I'll cover the shipping & paypal fees if you buy all 4 brakes(48 states only). I will split it up but price will be $1000+ship/paypal fees for the front. Rears will be $1050 + ship/paypal fees.

Not in a huge rush to sell so I'm firm on the price. This is basically less than half cost of buying new.

I will give you $150 off the price if you have a set of good condition OEM rear brakes(calipers, pads, rotors). If they are pretty bad condition/warped rotors/worn brake pads then just send me the calipers only and I'll give you $75 back. Just send them to me after you take them off your car and I'll refund you.

PS: I'll sell the brakes separately if need be. They also come with the Rotora SS brake lines.

Default A couple questions

How many miles and/or time would you say are on these brakes?

What size wheels must you have to clear this setup?

Do you retain your parking brake?

Must you remove your dust shields to install?

Does it make any funny noises when you stop because of the holes & slots in the rotors?

Thanks so much.

I've had them for about 2 years on my car. However, my car has been sitting in the garage for about 1 of those 2 years when I was constantly upgrading my engine. Also, this is not my daily driver so I don't put many miles on the car. I would say probably around 10k at most on the brakes. Keep in mind, I just put in a new set of pads in the front which is a $220 value.

What size wheels must you have to clear this setup?
18", but the spokes need to have the correct clearance to clear the calipers

Do you retain your parking brake?
Yes. Works just like stock.

Must you remove your dust shields to install?
Just need to bend them slightly and cut away about a 1" section around where the caliper sits. Shouldn't take more than 10min to mod each shield.

Does it make any funny noises when you stop because of the holes & slots in the rotors?
No, no noises at all. These brakes are very smooth and will stop on a dime. They also never squeak or squeal even when cold.

Thanks so much.

I closed the thread last year. I decided to keep the brakes after listing it up for a few days. I just relisted it now because I'm upgrading to bigger brakes soon.

I would say you can get about 50k+ miles on a set of pads under normal driving. Driving spirited occasionally you can probably get around 15-30k depending on how spirited lol. My front pads lasted me around 10k miles because I drive my car pretty hard on the highways(I do a decent amount of highway pulls and slowing down). This isn't my daily so when I take it out, I usually drive pretty fast. The rear pads still have 75-80% left after those same miles. Of course that's just because the front brakes do 80%+ of the braking on the car. You could probably stretch a set of pads out to 100k if you drove like a granny, planned the slowdown before lights/time it so you don't have to use brakes as much, or just do mostly highway driving. Or on the other end of the spectrum, if you race on a road course you can eat up pads in a single day!

Basically it just comes down to how you drive
