Exclamation WOW!The attractive Kizashi picks up the ball dropped by the Acura TSX & Subaru Legacy

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...mktid=cj260233

Edmunds Full Test - 2010 Suzuki Kizashi SLS

http://www.edmunds.com/insidel...el..1.*

Bottom Line: The name is strange, but the ride/handling balance is dead-on. The attractive Kizashi picks up the ball dropped by the Acura TSX and Subaru Legacy.

But for those willing to track down a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi, this is a chance to own a right-size sedan that drives like the TSX and Legacy once did. If the Kizashi can find some buyers, it could change the fortunes of a small-time Japanese player that until now hasn't had the right kind of four-wheeled product for America.

I would buy a Hyundai before I bought a Suzuki. They are known for their motorcycles not their cars. That may actually be for a good reason

In fairness though, I did enjoy their compact vehicles:

Swift

SX-4

Celerio

Hehe just saying

I'd buy a Hyundai as well, before Suzuki. I liked the concept Kizashi a lot better. Same overall shape, just much more masculine IMO:

what is popular is not always right.
what is right is not always popular.

Let's see....
Cappucino 3cyl FR turbo with multiple roof configuration.
Alto Works R with it's cross ratio manual tranny, no under coating body and only weighs 680kg.
Twin...**** your smart car. and its a hybrid made in 2003 IIRC.
Swift in JWRC (are they still in WRC?) and won COTY in Japan
they made a rotary bike
they provide OEM to mazda, nissan, gm, etc.
i think they still have the most market share in India
they used to sell the most kei cars in japan until recently daihatsu took over.

personally, I would love to have a SX4 as a dd.

Honda is known for their motorcycles too, and for good reason.

No matter how good or bad their vehicles are (and I thought the SX-4, more so than other Suzukis, was a terrific value, offering a 3-position FWD/AWD/AWD Lock for only about 15-16K to start), it won't matter if Suzuki doesn't get some dealerships to actually SELL them. Even in the car and money-rich D.C. area (the second largest new-car market in the country outside of SoCal), Suzuki auto dealerships (not necesarily motorcycle shops) have been dropping like flies. There are virtually none left anymore within a reasonable driving distance of my place. I suspect that is the case in many parts of the country, though there still may (?) be an adequate number of them in SoCal.

Yes, and I hope that the new Kizashi also helps keep them in buisness here. If not, you and I may end up having the same discussion about Suzuki that we did about Isuzu and Mitsubuishi.

I have heard relatively positive things about Hyundai vehicles, company expansions, and design direction. What have we ever heard about Suzuki.

I say Suzukis are to be ridden not driven. Thats the way it will stay in my book. Dare I say I would buy a GM product before I bought a suzuki ( wow0

I'd have to agree on that one even though my first vehicle was a samuri jeep.. i owned it for 2 years with no issues.. that 4 banger ran like a champ.. I do like the styling in the concept. but not actual production..
