Wondering how much illegal U-turn tickets are. Got one just one block from USC making a U-turn from the right lane because I wasn't sure I could clear it from the far left lane. I was in a hurry so I didn't bother arguing with the officer, and he would have written me up again for the no front plate and my tint...So I just got written up for the U-Turn. Funny he still recorded my speed as 5 mph in a 25 zone.
If you want you can flame and waste your time and my time and accomplish absolutely nothing.
If you can be helpful, what price range is this ticket going to be in, I'm just going to call the court and request to take traffic school and pay the fine.
Ahh...$200 less towards mods...aha jk
Oh wells..Have to be that much more careful around LA...I've been pulled over 3 times for no front plate and I just showed them my ticket I got the first time and they told me to fix it...lol
There's a base amount around two hundred, but it will depend on how many tickets you've had in the past. If you haven't had any in a while, I would suggest going to your court date when you receive it for the possibility of the judge lowering amount. my .02 cents.
i wouldnt fight the ticket...now a days officer shows up at the court, it happened to one of my co-worker..he paid the ticket for speeding...as far as the ticket, how much i would say $300 or more..sorry bro..
The ticket will be upwards of 200. If you fight it, you have options: 1. Set a date for it. 2. Extend it for another 60 days. 3. Show up on your court date and hopefully you recognize the cop, if you see him on the other side of the panel, approach the bailiff and tell him you want to just take traffic school (assuming you still have this option and make sure you do this before the hearings start or else you are forced to fight for your case which is 99% of the time, you'll lose!). Your judge will lower the amount of the infraction and you'll get it written off your record and If he's not there, then you just pay 20 bucks and the case gets dismissed. It's alot of work but 75%, worth the trouble.
