Does anyone know if I can run with no 3rd brake light? Currently making a custom LED board for it at the moment so its sorta in pieces haha. That will probably determine if I can come along or not. If anything I can show you guys the prototype board I made so far and get your opinion on it...

SoCal35, want to meet up then go to Tapi?
Technically it is illegal to drive without a 3rd brake light, but I doubt you will get pulled over and hassled for it.
Your other two lights should work fine. You might trip the burnt out brake light bulb on your dash though, which is no big deal either.
I can't make it this Thursday, already have plans to watch the Laker game. I will try and make the other meets though.
i think the tap ex spot is a good spot. I used to go to 240 meets there all the time and we never got hassled by cops. It is also somewhat shielded from the main road so the meet itself won't attract a lot of attention. Also because tap x is open late we can't get ticketed for loitering. With the other spots mentioned on Jeffrey the problem with those places is that a lot of them close early. With Huntington and other beach areas, not a lot of people are going to want to go to meets if we have to pay for parking (unless it's for Hellaflush) and that area is very crowded at times. I do agree that the scenery is nice there and it would be a cool place to chill, but it just might be too hectic for a weekly meet.
Hmm... I was talking to eyezack87 and we figured that back in the day Tapioca Express was alright. Recently, when I'd drive by the area, I noticed that traffic has become more hectic and drivers in the area tend to be careless. I think this is just inevitable with the freeway exit right next to the plaza.
I guess I wouldn't mind to meet there. Just gotta be careful I guess?
