Default 09 GS350 AWD vs 09 GS460 RWD ??

Does anyone know what advantage of 09 460 over 09 350?
Last year, one critical feature is VDIM, and I read from model spec where states that VDIM is offer on both of these models. Is it true?
Any additional improvement of 350 compare to 460?

In this current economy situation - down so much - how much should I expect to pay for both of these models vs Invoice or MSRP ?

And last but not least, with that price and feature different, which one should I pick?

From current MSRP, and lexus.com comparison, I lean toward 350 AWD (with upgrade , ML + Nav + park assist) due to 53,220 MSRP vs 59,685 MSRP. But if the 460 only ~5-6k over 350, and around 55k, i might try to go for it.

Hope someone can help me with this.

You really need to go in and drive both of them. 460 also has an 8speed transmission and it's got more power than the 350. Overall you need to make your decision based on your budget and what you're looking for. In a nutshell, 350 is AWD, better fuel economy, and 6speed. 460: more power, 8speed, costs more. Do you need AWD? VDIM is just an advanced skid control system. The AWD has VSC and TRAC which basically does the same thing. Buying a car is like buying golf clubs, you have to drive it and see which one suits you. No sense in buying something you won't feel good in. Good luck!

what he said. i was going to say something similar regarding if you need AWD in your area. is this going to be a daily driver? do you plan on driving it through the snow? this is really a question of power vs. functionality. you need to decide which one will be better for you overall, not just for those great summer days

this will be for daily driving year round in Minnesouta. So yes, we still have to drive in snow, but it turn out more likely that she will drive the car with the baby and I got the Pilot for school and work. That's why I'm asking for a more common sense and advices since I don't care much on which one to drive.
Gonna check them out on wedsnesday and i'll update more. thx guys

MN...I'd go with the AWD. You won't miss the power but will appriciate the gas.

yeah AWD ftw, and it's not like it's a weak car lol. you will be more than thankful to have that AWD when the snow hits, it's worth the peace of mind.

normally 460, but we do get 360 days of sun here..

AWD in your case, would never put family/kids in danger.

If you're not planning on modding the car and you will be driving in snow, then get AWD.

if this is going to be a family car and will be driven year round, I'd say go with the 350. The wife/girlfriend will be driving it anyways, better on fuel economy, more safe, cost less IMHO.
