Tires & mounting shops - LA, OC (The Mother thread)
For those of you with aftermarket rims with low pro. tires... where do you go to get your tires put on? ive been to 3 different places in the past but haven't been completely satisfied with any of them. im basically looking for a place with both good service and that really knows what they are doing (one place i went to struggled to get the tires on my 19's... so much that i was getting scared they would either damage the rim or tire)

One of the local JustTires places by me had no problems working on my Infiniti's 20s when I had a flat tire and needed a patch, I think it depends more on the tech you get, not the place...

honestly, i don't care much for discount tires in el monte. i used to go to costco and was always happy with their service, but they recently stopped mounting tires bought elsewhere. they were cheap...like $8 each, i think. i went to Tucker Tires a few months ago and was really happy with them. i think i'll be going there from now on. they seem to know what they're doing and were really nice

I am always at the wheel supply(thewheelsupply.com) and they are great people! Matter of fact all 4 of my tires are from the wheel supply in walnut. Talk to ALbert or Sander and tell them the black carlsson gs sent you and they will hook u up.

I go to Wheelwarehouse in fullerton.
I have had nightmares in dealing with Americas tires because they do not have the proper mounting machines. Wheel warehouse has these high end German manufactured mounting machines that are essentially, fully automated. They never even touch the lips of your wheels with these machines.
It is more expensive, but well worth the cost if you have already plunked down a few G's on your wheel and tire set up. Cost is about 160 for a whole set with balancing. PM with any additional questions. BTW they have mounted both our Zauber 19's and our 19" HRE's.
PS-Didn't you have the Bridgestone S03 with the sidewall's separating?? I have had the same issue but can't get a damn bit of help from my local tirestores.
Lemme know-

for my 19"s I only like this one Discount Tires in SD, because they tell me when their best people are in and when its the newer guys with less experience, I appreciate their honesty, and the experienced guys do a great job
Heard good things about the wheel supply however

Come to my shop!! We have the top of the line mounting and computer balancing machines. We calibrate our systems weekly and have NEVER scratched up or damaged any wheels. Most tire shops have a sign that says "not responsible for damaging wheels" but we don't. We're confident and know for a fact that our machines will not damage any wheels!! PM me for info, we're in El Monte. (we mount 13" to 24" wheels)
