gauging interest to take over order 3% over invoice
Hey everyone....I really want my IS, but after doing some more research, I realize I might be stretching myself too thin. So, I would like to find out whether anyone would be interested in taking over my order. I would need $1500 back for the deposit and you get this car:
IS 250 RWD Manual Transmission
Desert Sage Metallic/Black Interior
Luxury Package (17" Wheels)
Navigation
Mark Levinson
Headlamp Washers
Park Assist
Rear Spoiler
Preferred Accessory Package
Price $35,367 (3% over invoice)
Please private message me if you're interested. I am just gauging interest here, and if I decide to do this whoever is serious about it can take it over.
Thanks,
L

Not sure about Ma laws, but out in Cali it's a refundable deposit. I'd check into it. Might save the hassles and such of transfering cash and paperwork for the order.
FWIW though.............I was looking at ordering basically your order and could not. Dealer was saying that I could not get a 250 with Lux/ML on it. The cars that did come out with it were "executive" cars and stickered in the low $40k, and might as well get a 350. Lexus had no plans to produce that car. 2 dealers told me that.....

Thanks. The order has been accepted by Lexus. I'll know tomorrow if it's being built.

i believe it's always a refundable deposit, even if the car arrives tomorrow. check with your dealership
plus, i am not sure if they allow changing names (ownership) other than you? i know in cali they most of the time don't allow that, effecting cutting the chances of people selling their "tickets"

I guess Longo in SoCal was full of chit then.......... That's the car I was really wanting to get, and they pretty much shut me down. But damn, I couldn't imgine having to wait till July to get that car. Not like it's an Enzo or 355..........Might as well go for a 350 and have it this week.
