Default WTB: L-tuned springs/shocks, or JDM Spring (OEM rate only)

If you have it and considering returning to stock or upgrading to adjustables, I am looking for a set. If returning to stock, I can even do the changeover for you in my garage (So. California). Pls. sound off

Default I'm confused

Not to stomp on your classified ads but you are selling an Eibach pro-kit in one, and asking for L-Tuned in another. The kits from my understanding are identical. Eibach makes the L-Tuned kit with the same or very close to the same specs as the Pro-kit. The shocks are the Euro-spec version in the L-Tuned setup, but I'm not sure how they compare to the Bilsteins.

I have seen on posts that people think the Eibach and L-tuned springs are one and the same, and for good reasons. I however think they are not the same. L-tuned offers a tad lower drop than Eibach. As such, there is reason to believe that spring rate is possibly different. Therefore, it is my belief that the two are not identical. Agree that Eibach makes the L-tuned shocks, and that the Euro spec is the L-tuned.

With regard to shocks, Bilstein shocks have more aggresive valving than L-tuned. This was confirmed by postings here. One CL vendor even had seen the dyno specs of the Bilstein....I remember now it was Todd Matsubara of TM Engineering...and commented that it is valved in the same range as truck duty shocks!

Default Fair enough

That's cool...just didn't want you to go through all that hassle to find out you are right back where you started.

thanks for looking out after me. I know it can happen. Actually, my plan is to put an L-tuned shock with the L-tuned springs. I know that putting the Bilstein with the L-tuned springs will still be a bit stiff ride (for me!) In this case, firmness has a lot to do with what shock to use if the coil springs are almost identical.

I have a set on my car that may be removed soon. They have been on the car for about 20,000 miles. What are you offering? PM me.
