Rides really good, bilstein is a brand you can trust! Does Not ride hard but allows me to corner much better!

Then keep your stock suspension, you won't ever get the same stock ride, lol.

It's definitely slightly stiffer than stock but it's not back breaking like all the other kits. The quality you pay for bilstein is also going to last you a lot longer than all the other brands. These struts are heavy and durable, compared to others which are lighter and use thinner metal parts. In my opinion, I am glad I got them on my car and believe you won't be disappointed.

thanks for the replies.... Im currently running kybs/ tanabe nf102 and id say the ride is better than stock so I know its possible. I put them on about 40k ago and theyre starting to feel a bit sloppy so I figured id just get new something and coilovers are an option as Id like to go 1 step stiffer.

I've not ride in a GS with Tanabe springs, but I would imagine them to be similar but you're using totally different shocks [shrug], so we're not really comparing apples to apples anymore, more fruit basket to fruit basket. So I wouldn't be able to tell you if it's one step stiffer or not, you'd prob have to compare spring rates from the mfg spec's. I use Bilstein in all my vehicles, from my daily, to truck, and now coils on the GS, so far they have not failed me yet. [knock on wood]

I would also suggest that you get your ball joints, tie rods, and sway bar links checked if you are getting "sloppiness" in your current setup. I think it's unreasonable for Tanabe springs to start to fail only after 40k miles, unless you rally your car, lol.
