Default ** Looking For 3.76 LSD **

Can't seem to find any used ones on Supra forums or anywhere? Anyone selling theirs ? I don't mind used, but must be in good condition.

THANKS

You could even try looking at a local junk yard...who knows maybe there's a BADLY damaged Supra TT there. Ask if they can pull the diff. for you...same thing. GL!

does one have to replace the half shafts when changing out the diff? I am looking for a 3.76 LSD also.

Its a bolt in deal as long as you get it out of a auto car. You will have to change the pinon hub mount from your diff to the LSD because the drive shaft is different.

I have a 3.76 LSD, I'm thinking about parting my car out. If you want the specifics on mileage and what not send me a PM. Thanks, Jason

a bit of a story here.

i bought a used unit here on this board from a JDM supra, but when i took it to my local toyota mechanic to install, they opened it up and found an open diff inside... i had a scary moment where i thought i was going be stuck with a 100lb paperweight because the seller would not believe me despite pictures of the internals clearly showing it was an open diff, and a written report from a certified toyota mechanic, but it turned out his supplier had screwed him by saying it was an lsd when it wasn't, and the seller replaced my purchase with a real-deal lsd unit in the end

so... if you're buying used, make sure to check inside before installing.

Ditto, the first one I bought turned out to be a open diff as well. The next one I bought I demanded a picture of it with the cover removed. There are lots of stories like this, buyer beware. Educate yourself before you buy.
