FS: HKS intake from 99 GS400
HKS intake system from a 99 GS400. consists of the filter, MAF adapter, and heat shield. it is very new... maybe less than 5k mi on it. it came with the GS we bought and i can't afford the fuel management needed to effectively use it (eg. apexi SAFC), so it throws the requisite CEL code for lean condition if u try and run it the way it is. as a result the stock airbox is back in and this has to go
$200USD obo + shipping.
buyer pays all shipping costs. USPS or western union INTERNATIONAL money order please. if paypal please ask in advance (buyer pays all fees).
thanks

i don't know why this is not listed on the hks site... all the parks have hks markings. i see all the individual parts listed on the website with the exception of the heat shield, but not as a complete kit.
so far all i could find is $75 new for the MAF adapter and $105 for the filter assy itself. no idea on the shield.

sorry for the late response. a local hks shop said it was most likely grey-market japan and isn't sold normally in north america, which is why some of the components are not listed. i've been trying to get a price but have had no luck so far...
can i please ask for a few more days while i ask around one more time? please don't delete me

some things i should mention while we wait about install... u are supposed to reuse the airbox mounting hardware to install this, so please keep track of which bolts go where because there is no instruction booklet for this. they do provide new nuts/bolts to mount your maf. the maf gasket should be replaced, as the one in the pic i used and i don't trust it. there is also one bolt that is supposed to mount the shield to the bottom frame rail that was absent when i removed it. i can see the marks left behind indicating that there was once a bolt there but it's not there anymore... sorry. it shouldn't be hard to replace, or just leave it out because there are other mounting points.

Ed, I have owned that HKS SuperMegaFlow on 2 of my vehicles. My 90 300Z and my current SC Xterra...
It Flows a ton of air, so much so that I took it off my Xterra for the same reason... needs fuel management.
On my 300 I did it before exhaust and I couldn't believe how much it effected backpressure... it was sick. I opened up that system with dual flowmasters and it was a great combination.
Also, Nopi should still carry the filters for it and they come in different colors so you would not be stuck with green.
For a sick flowing intake... people when they see it under the hood.
