Woohoo - I love these wheels! Picked these up from a member of T4R.ORG, they've got Bridgestone Dueler 265/65-18 tires. Not sure if I'll even bother getting the Lexus center caps, I'm kind of likin' the regular Toyota caps
My wife's been lying to me all these years, size really DOES matter
Love those 18s on the GX! I always thought the 4Runner sport OEM wheels looked better than OEM GX rims but those are far better!!! Hmm...may have to do that myself!
I did the same thing, only went w/Michelin XTs. Love the change, and I'm sticking w/the Toyota center caps too.
I also went full boat and ordered the TMPS sensors to go with them. They were almost as expensive as the wheels...
The wheels are cheap, by the way. 199/ea from my local Toyota dealer. Hard to pass up.
I agree that the wheels look like they were made for the truck. I think their chunky nature complements the lines of the truck very well. Great upgrade.
Oh, and trust me, it looks *much* better in person than it does in pics...,

Thanks guys, yes I agree they look even better in person then in my crappy camera phone pics - the angles on the spokes really complement the sharp creases in the fender flares and other parts of the body IMO. Also, I think "trucks" like the GX with six lugs just look better with six spoke wheels.
I didn't realize the TPMS things were that expensive -they didn't come out with that until the '04 model year so I didn't have to worry about it on my '03.

look like you have at least 2" wider than the original wheel base. May be better handing . Looking good
Hmmm...do these wheels have different offsets? I just assumed they were the same but now you got me wondering. Tires are same exact width/profile as stock GX tires (265/65), it just sits a half inch higher now. So unless the wheels have a different offset it should still have the same track, right?

Not sure what you mean by that...
The wheels are the same width, as are the tires.
The wheels have the same offset as stock.
So, contact patch and "track" are all OEM.
You *do* benefit from a bit crisper steering responsiveness and a bit less overall body roll & "wallow" if you go w/the 265/60s like I did. This also has the benefit of keeping the speedometer accurate.

I just realized he said "wheel base" - so maybe he meant it has the illusion of a bigger/longer wheelbase (stock is 109.8") because of the larger wheels. In reality though it's still the same wheelbase I think, isn't wheel base measured from the very bottom of the front wheel to the very bottom of the rear wheel?
