Real talk, those fines are rediculous. So are we still allowed to talk on the cell wo/ a headset? I cant stand bluetooth so I always have the cell to my ear and have been noticed by a lot of cops without any problems.

basically you are not allowed to hold the cell phone with hands or your shoulder
Another new law is that you have to have your headlights on now when its raining out during the day.

Lots of BS to deal with for the privilege to drive. New laws every year.

make it worse. headlights have to be on when your windshield wipers are on, i think that's the exact law. which have made me wonder since day one. what if i flip the switch to wipe it couple of times? i have to flash my headlights?
Yea, I think some of these are still worse elsewhere...
And I don't think you'll get the carpool violation if the traffic isn't heavy, I got hit with a big speeding ticket late at night down in orange county a while back, and they managed to overlook that i was in the carpool lane (it was a double-double yellow carpool lane too...no entry and exit, except designated points)
These fines are out of control. The state makes so much money off of this. I wish they would put it to good use and help our schools! Anyway I know I have donated plenty of money in the past 2 years. I've been really good lately so hopefully I can keep it up. I don't want to be fighting or payin any of those steep fines.
