Default New 300GS pricing....Is this pretty good...

I was quoted $ 43,2XX.XX for a brand new fully loaded Mark Levinson GS 300....

Is that a pretty solid price or about average?

i believe its fair, i paid roughly that amount for a 300 ML/NAV loaded (with a couple other options)...but seeing that the 350's are out, u could probably get better if you battle with them some more...

Looks like that's the price of invoice. I didn't buy one but managed to get a quote for $1000 below invoice. Once the GS350 hit dealership, that will push the GS300 value down even further.

I was just quoted $47700 on a 300 AWD with ML and Navi, if that helps or hurts. It's what, $2k or so over invoice? I haven't stopped in yet to haggle any more.

If you pay 47700, WEll the day you drive it off the lot you will lose 10K. I wouldn't do it.

What new car doesn't lose value as soon as you drive off the lot?

All cars do but some worst than others. Lexus for the most part holds it value very very well in the past. I just don't thing the GS has been a hit for them. I see IS 350's selling higher than the Gs300 which is a more expensive car. That tells you something. What i hate is when you go to the Lexus dealership and they act like there stuff is gold when it isn't.

FWIW, residual on a 2006 GS300 is 50%.

I agree... lease the car. A tin can (whether domestic or an import) isn't an investment unless you plan on driving the car for 6+ years.

Trust me, even then it's not an investment, unless you plan to keep it for 30-40+ years and take it to Barrett Jackson!

Wonder how the lease numbers will look for a 330? Need to look into that!

Lease numbers won't be great at first...just wait 4-6 months until the intial hype has died down. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get a great deal at that point.
