Taking The Mystery Out of Fog Light Bulb DIY
The left side is the easiest.(Drivers side) There is an access cover. Just remove the two black plastic clips by prying out the center. Remove the cover. Reach up and unplug the bulb by pinching the connector and pulling it down. Then remove the bulb by turning it counter clockwise. Installation is self explanitory from there.

Now the right side(passenger side).First turn the wheel all the way to the left. Locate the two screw type clips and remove them by turning it counter clockwise 90degrees.

Here is what the clip and its retainer look like when removed.

Now start from the top edge of the corner of the bumper cover and separate the black plastic fender well liner.

Work your way down, pry the liner away from the edge of the bumper cover. Be careful not to scratch the bumper cover.

You should be able to pull it back far enough to see the back of the fog light.

Reach in and turn the back of the bulb counter clockwise and remove the bulb from the housing. It might be easier to remove the connector after you have done this. Rather than unplugging the connector first.
Just so happens that the fog rolled in when I did this.

Carefully put the plastic retainers in the edge of the bumper cover. Slip the liner back behind it and button everything up. Done!!!!
Just in case inquiring minds want to know. This is the bulb I had in it. It was nice and "HID like", with a blue tinge. But it was not bright enough IMHO.

This is the yellow I put in it. (No, the blue bulbs you see in this pic, in the packaging is not the yellow bulbs just the packaging for the yellow bulbs)

There you have it. I hope this simplifies it for everyone. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I'm planning on buying one of those cheap Xtec HIDs for my fogs and wanted to ask you if it is easier installing them on a lift or would you rather do it like you did with the bulbs???Thanks!

I did it this way bc most people do not have access to a lift. Will
