Default My GS300 AWD

Well I finally got it together. I got a tint, new wheels and tires.

My tint is 35%, my wheels are Privat Netz FS 19" x 8" and my tires are General UHP 245/35/19" all around.

Here are some pics :

Before the drop

After the drop

Looks much better with the drop. Did you use NF210's?

Looks good! Who installed it? Also, what do you think of the ride and handling?

The same guy that I mentioned in my other thread did the install. I had to tell them which springs were front and which were back. Thanks to you guys and the forum I could show him pics and he completed it right as I stood there and watched.

As for the ride, well that did change more so with the change of wheels than springs. At first I looked at the 19" and wished I had bought the 20"'s but after riding on the 19"' s for a while I am glad I didn't as the 19"'s are at my edge of comfort, and I am coming from a C5 Vette. the springs added a little more harsh a ride but I would say not as much as the larger wheels. I would say it doesn't feel anymore like what Lexus intended.

The only problem now is my AFS light constantly flashes now. The dealer said because of the drop. They said they couldn't do anything about it. Is there a way to fix this ?

Yes NF210's, but with it still settling it is begining to almost look like a DF210 drop. Thank God I didn't get the DF210's or my ride would be siytting on the ground !

It's funny that you mention the AFS light flashing. There is a thread about this. Some people got it and some don't. I was fortunate not to get it. If you search for it you will find out that it's not that bad to fix.

My dealer says the AFS light is because of the drop and there is nothing they can do about it. I saw the thread on the AFS light, but I don't think my dealer knows what they are doing when it comes to the 2006 GS300/430's. I need to find another place for service.
