New Lexus LF-CC Race Car For 2014 Japanese Super GT Series
The LF-CC concept car has wowed us since its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Today Lexus Racing has unveiled a new race car based on the LF-CC concept which will compete in the 2014 Japanese Super GT Series. The new LF-CC race car will replace the trusty SC 430 which has run in the GT 500 class for nearly 7 years.
Since the LF-CC is just a concept car and not a production car, we strongly feel that this is going to be a race car based on the rumored RC F that has surfaced recently. With the orange and black paint scheme we have a strong feeling this is something that evolved from the IS F CCS-R project. The bold new spindle grille from the LF-CC concept is a sure giveaway that this race car is going to be mean. We expect those blacked out headlights to change once the Lexus RC is officially unveiled later this year.
