Red Bull Drifts SC400 and Supra Up Insane Chinese Mountain Road

Now, that is a driving road. There are so many corners it doesn’t even look real.

Red Bull, supporters of all things Xtreme, have taken drifting to the mountain passes in lieu of the less lethal (and less impressive) drifting Grand Prix. Instead they challenged Japanese drift outfit Team Orange to slide their way to the top of China’s Tianmen Mountain. Oh, and they brought a helicopter too.

In the Lexus SC400 is Red Bull China’s Frederico Sceriffo. James Tang represented Team Orange Japan in the Supra.

Lest you think this was just a stunt… It was a legitimate competition. Federico won the contest with a 96.5 points out of a 100. Frankly, getting to the top of the mountain’s 99 corners is impressive enough. He managed to hit 105 mph at parts. Yikes.

Check out this awesome footage below.
