Novel IS F Readying for the Ring
If you’ve got an IS F that you want to prep for the Nürburgring, here’s a novel idea: call Novel.
Novel started as a hand-constructed IS F exhaust specialist out of Japan. They’ve since started making other aftermarket products and working on all things F, and making them that much better.
Well, better obviously depends on your taste. And in the case of this IS F, dubbed the “Nürburgring project,” it also depends on whether or not you plan on having any passengers. This baby’s been stripped down to its chassis and built back up for the track, ideally the Nordschleife.
There’s a fabricated roll cage built to international specs, ample carbon fiber, Enkei rims, slicks, and a wing that would make Big Bird jealous. The engine’s still a work in progress apparently, but according to Speedhunters, “it’s been fitted with Novel’s own headers, race exhaust and custom engine management solution to maximise the performance.”
