Sick Ultrasonic Blue Mica in the Yokohama Booth at SEMA 2014
The UBM RC F in the Yokohama booth was the first RC F I actually saw at SEMA 2014. Since the show is all about the aftermarket, some of the booth cars can be over the top. But the execution with this effort was right on.
Built by Gordon Ting and Beyond Marketing, the sports coupé sported a carbon lip, splitter and side diffusers from Evasive Motorsports, and featured a prototype intake and exhaust from GReddy. Given how good the V8 sounds breathing through the stock units, I’d have liked to be able to hear this baby at wide open throttle, but the whole being inside thing kind of prohibited that.
The RC F was shod with Yokohama Advan Wheels and also sported Tein Mono Sport coilovers mated to the company’s EDFC Active Pro system, which automatically adjust damping force to respond to driving conditions. Because it was at SEMA–and there has to be at little crazy somewhere–it was also plumbed with a 100-shot nitrous system from Nitrous Express.
