2014 Lexus LX 570 Unleashes the Beast up the Loveland Pass

The Lexus LX 570 is one of the most capable, go-anywhere vehicles in the world. Very seldom do we get to see ultra-capable SUVs driven in challenging conditions, so the video below is a treat.

Watch Roman Mica and Andre Smirnov from The Fast Lane Car test the 2014 Lexus LX 570 as it ascends the 11,990-foot Loveland Pass. It would be too easy if the LX 570 were fitted with snow tires, so this test vehicle is equipped with all-seasons, and it has to get up the pass during a blizzard.

Will the LX 570 handle the “Loveland Gauntlet” with aplomb, or will all-season tires act as the missing link between the LX 570’s full-time four-wheel-drive system and the Loveland Pass?
