Have You Ever Seen Gold Wheels Look So Good?

Lexus GS

I’ve been at this auto writing thing for a while now, and I can’t ever recall seeing wheels this gold look this good.

Sure, it’s hard to spoil the natural beauty of the Lexus GS, especially in this classy shade of white, but many an aftermarket wheel has left many a beautiful car looking far-more ordinary, or even down-right atrocious. Well, that’s certainly not the case with Club Lexus member Staggered3‘s 2013 GS 350 F Sport, rolling gold on Avant Garde F421s, as you can see in these jaw-dropping photos.

These photos come to us from Staggered3’s recent thread, “GS F SPORT Photoshoot at H20i,” which is a spot in Ocean City, Maryland. Staggered was lucky enough to get his car shot by “rising star photographer” Vlad Shurigin, who goes by the much-more-artistic and automotive-sounding name, Zuumy. Apparently Zuumy said these were the best pics of the weekend too, until a pesky Acura NSX showed up for her closeup.

Still, this GS — gold wheels and all — can hang in a beauty contest with the best of ’em. Right?
